The Corpus Christi Parents Association is holding its AGM on Tuesday 29 September at 8pm and the Committee invites all parents / guardians to attend.
The PA Committee consists of 17 parents of pupils presently at the school, and represents all parents in the school.
What do we do?
Activities are many and varied but some key areas are
The PA works hard to generate a sense of school as community. A number of activities and events are run by the PA throughout the year, typically including the Christmas Raffle, Easter Raffle, Sponsored Walk, and of course the annual Fun Day.
Why come to the AGM?
The AGM is a great opportunity to find out more about the Parents Association and what it does. The meeting will give an overview of the past years activities, provide details of the funds raised and how they were spent to benefit all children in the school, and focus on the year ahead. There will be plenty of opportunities for Q&A during the meeting.
The AGM also provide parents with the opportunity to become more involved in the PA, and by extension, the school. The monthly meetings are friendly and informal and provide the opportunity to meet up with other parents. Helping at the various events is satisfying and worthwhile as you know that you are helping in some small way to make the school even better for your child.
